How one DV program partnered with local prosecutors to meet the needs of survivor-defendants, victims of abuse charged with a DV crime.
At YWCA, we know that not all violence is acknowledged or responded to equally, and that some victims go unrecognized altogether. That’s why we work every day to end gender-based violence, including domestic violence, trafficking, and sexual assault.
Join YWCA to learn about a unique partnership with the King County Prosecutors Office that better supports survivors-defendants, victims of abuse who are accused of committing domestic violence related crimes.
This event is part of YWCA’s “Week Without Violence: Black, Bold & Brave,” from October 18 – 24. Visit our website to learn more: www.ywcaworks.org/events/wwv20
Featured presenters include:
Doris O’Neal, Director of GBVSS (YWCA)
David Martin, Senior Deputy Prosecutor (King County)
